Fetchmail Cyrus-SASL Postfix Imap -> Email System @ Home

Just wanted to leave a great guide for creating a fully functional email service within your home network.

Email System For The Home Network

Software used:
app-antivirus/clamav
dev-libs/cyrus-sasl
dev-libs/openssl
mail-filter/amavisd-new
mail-filter/bogofilter
mail-mta/postfix
net-libs/courier-authlib
net-mail/courier-imap
net-mail/fetchmail
net-mail/procmail

Anti-Virus Protection for the Email System

And, to manage multiple ISP accounts, you only need the following:
postfix.org – Client Sasl Sender

Got to mention one last thing:
I’m not using Squirrelmail, since the apache is not reachable from the web for security reasons. But I don’t think that part is much complicated.
